At around 6.30pm on Tuesday 3 October 2023, a man entered a grocery store on Beach Road in Warwick and walked around the store placing numerous grocery items into a shopping bag until it was full. The man then walked over to the flower stand near the entry gates and placed the shopping bag over the flower stand onto the floor outside the store perimeter. The man exited the store but before he could retrieve the bag of groceries a staff member picked up the bag and the man walked off empty handed.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with short brown hair, goatee and moustache. He was wearing a light blue ‘Lonsdale’ t-shirt, red knee length shorts with grey runners.
