At around 3.00pm on Wednesday 7 July 2021, the victim was standing with friends at a licenced premises on James Street in Northbridge. The victim had placed his mobile phone on top of a table where he was standing when he realised his mobile phone had been taken. CCTV recorded a man take the victim’s mobile phone off the table.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: fair skinned, between 20 to 30 years of age with short hair. He was wearing a black hooded jumper over a white top, white trousers with black shoes and a white baseball cap.
