At around 8.45pm on Monday 5 July 2021, the victim entered a supermarket store on Vincent Street in Leederville and left his newly purchased Skywalker 8 electric scooter just inside the entrance of the store. Within a minute a man entered the store and removed the scooter, handing the scooter to a second male outside the store, before both men headed off towards the nearby train station.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first man is described as: fair skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with reddish blonde hair and an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black hooded ‘Space Jam’ jacket, black trousers with black shoes.

The second man is described as: fair skinned, slim build with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a black jacket, trousers with grey shoes.
