At around 9.00am on Thursday 12 October 2023, a man carrying a cooler bag entered a liquor store on Joondalup Drive in Edgewater. The man walked into the spirits section and took seven bottles of high-end whiskey off the display shelf and placed them into his cooler bag. As the man walked out of the store he smiled at a staff member who asked to check his bag, making no attempt to pay for the bottles of whiskey.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with brown hair, beard and moustache. He was wearing a blue and white flannelette shirt, beige cargo shorts, black shoes, brown cap and sunglasses.
