At around 9.44pm on Wednesday 18 October 2023, the victim’s wallet containing some cash and a bank card fell out of her pocket onto a bench while sitting waiting for a train at the Kwinana Train Station in Parmelia. Shortly after the victim got up and walked off, a woman in company with a man is seen on CCTV pick up the victim’s wallet and sit on the bench. The victim’s bank card was used twice to make fraudulent purchase around thirty minutes later.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age, with brown hair tied up into a bun. She was wearing a black jumper, green trousers, black and white runners, prescription glasses and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
