At around 7.10pm on Monday 18 December 2023, the victim was inside an arcade games centre on Lake Street in Northbridge. The victim placed left her handbag at one of the arcade games and moved to another arcade game. A man in company with a woman was seen on CCTV pick up the handbag and leave the centre with it. The victim’s handbag was found outside the centre on the ground with some items missing.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age, short brown hair, an unshaven appearance with tattoos visible on both hands and right calf. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, black ‘Adidas’ shorts, red shoes and sunglasses.
