At around 7.35am on Saturday 9 December 2023, a man and woman entered a hardware store on Liege Street in Cannington via the trade entrance in a white Ute. They walked around the store taking a torch, TV bracket and shower head off the shelves before placing these items onto the rear seat of their Ute and driving off making no attempt to pay for them.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with black collar length hair, thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a black t-shirt over a grey long- sleeved t-shirt, black pants, black shoes with sunglasses.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with long black curly hair tied back. She was wearing a brown t-shirt, beige shorts with white sandals.
