At around 2.00pm on Monday 5 February 2024, a woman in company with a child entered a supermarket store on Mandurah Road in Singleton and walked around the store filling up her trolley with grocery items. The woman is seen on CCTV enter the self-checkout area and stand at a till while the child went to another till. As soon as a staff member went to assist the child, the woman exited the store without paying for the trolley load of groceries.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 35 to 40 years of age with long red hair tied back into a pony tail and a tattoo visible on the outside of her right forearm. She was wearing a black singlet, black skirt with white spots and sliders.
