At around 3.15pm on Sunday 21 January 2024, a man walked up to the service counter at a supermarket store on Wanneroo Road in Madeley and asked to look at two Oppo mobile phones. The man looked at the two phones and agreed to purchase them. While the staff member was processing the payment, the man grabbed both phones off the counter in front of the staff member and ran off with them.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with shoulder length dark brown hair, a short beard and moustache. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black shorts, black sneakers with a dark coloured cap and sunglasses.
