Around 3.20pm on Wednesday 28 August 2019, a man entered a hobby store on Marine Terrace Fremantle. He asked about purchasing a particular drone. A staff member went out the back, got the drone, placed it on the counter to process the sale and the man has grabbed the drone and run from the store.
Another customer who saw the incident followed the male onto Howard Street and then onto South Terrace where he was seen getting into a small green vehicle and drive away.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as” Light skinned, around 30-35 years of age, medium build and short brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue shirt and blue denim shorts.
