Around 1.35pm on Tuesday 17 September 2019, a man entered a tool shop on Merchant Drive Rockingham. After browsing the store for a short time, the man selected a socket set and walked out of the store without paying for the item. A store employee saw the man leave and get on a bicycle with the item still in his possession. The store employee chased after him and he threw it at the victim, hitting him in the chest. The man then challenged the store employee to a fight before leaving the area on the bicycle.

 

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light skinned, medium build and short dark hair. He was wearing a red and black top, dark shorts and sunglasses.
