Around 8.45am on Thursday 8 August 2019, a woman was sitting on a seat at Midland Train Station looking through her bag for her train ticket. In the process she left her mobile phone on the seat next to her before getting on the train and forgetting about her phone.

 

A woman pushing a pram, saw the mobile phone on the seat, picked it up, placed it inside the pram and walked away.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as: Light skinned, around 35 years of age, medium build and dark shoulder length hair. She was wearing a pink scarf, black top and pants.
