At around 10:50am on Friday 1 January 2021 a man entered a venue on Murray Street in Perth.

 

The man walked to the bar area. He then cut the wiring to the cash register with a sharp object and removed the cash register. He also selected a bottle of alcohol and can of soft drink. The man left the premesis on to Murray Street in possession of the cash register and drinks.

 

It was later confirmed that the cash register was empty at the time of theft.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: light skinned, large build, approximately 40-50 years old, dark broen har with blonde tips, black grey bard and a tattoo on his left forearm. He wore sunglasses and a burgundy shirt.
