At around 11.40am on Thursday 2 May 2024, a woman entered a gift shop on Murray Street in Perth and walked up to a display of opal jewellery. After looking at the display for a while the woman removed an opal gift box set and immediately exited the shop without making payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build, between 20 to 25 years of age with long black hair tied back into a pony tail. She was wearing a black hooded jumper, black track pants with blue sneakers.
