At around 3.30pm on Wednesday 22 February 2023, a man walked into a gift shop on Murray Street in Perth and approached the jewellery display. The man spent some time looking at the various jewellery items before he takes a gold necklace and places it into his pocket. The man walked out of the shop without attempting to pay for the gold chain.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 35 years of age with short hair dyed blonde and a thin black moustache and goatee. He was wearing a navy blue Nike t-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks with navy blue runners and was wearing sunglasses.
