At around 5.00pm on Wednesday 21 June 2023, the victim secured his e-scooter outside the entrance to a store on Nicholson Road in Canning Vale using a bike chain. After the victim entered the store a man is seen on CCTV arrive on another e-scooter, remove the bike chain on the victim’s e-scooter and ride away holding the victim’s e-scooter in one hand.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants with black runners.
