At around 5.00pm on Monday 9 September 2024, a man and woman entered a supermarket store on Peony Boulevard in Yanchep and filled a trolley up with groceries. They walked into the self-serve exit and after scanning all the items, the man left with the trolley load while the woman made payment that was declined. The woman told a staff member she would go and get the man to return and pay. Neither returned to the store to make payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man has been identified.
The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 25 to 30 years of age with a small tattoo visible on her right forearm. She was wearing a black shirt, black cap with prescription glasses.
