At around 4pm on Saturday 2 November 2024, two young women entered a grocery store on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah. They headed straight for the cosmetics aisle and began selecting items from the shelves. CCTV captured them concealing $200 worth of cosmetics in their bags before approaching the checkout. They paid for one item at the checkout, and when staff checked their bags, the women claimed the other cosmetics were purchased at another store.
Police have released CCTV images of the women who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The first woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, with long dark hair. She was wearing a white crop top, black shorts, black shoes and black sunglasses.
The second woman is described as: light skinned, slim build with long blonde hair. She was wearing a grey crop top, denim shorts and light sneakers.
