At around 9.55am on Wednesday 20 September 2023, an elderly victim paid for his groceries using a self-service checkout inside a supermarket store on Pinjarra Road in Mandurah and requested $40 cash out. The victim left the store forgetting his $40 cash out and when he realised this a short time later, he returned to the store and staff told him no cash had been handed in.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with short hair, a thin beard and moustache. He was wearing a black hooded ‘Bulls’ jacket over a brown t-shirt, black track pants, white runners and a red cap.
