At around 11.30am on Wednesday 17 April 2024, the victim was seated in the waiting area of a building on Reid Promenade in Joondalup with his shoulder bag on the ground beside him. The victim left his seat forgetting his bag behind and when he returned around thirty minutes later, his bag was gone containing his wallet, cigarettes and driver’s licence.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 30 to 35 years of age with brown hair tied up and a tattoo visible on her left thigh. She was wearing a black jumper, black skirt with white sneakers.
