At around 2.00pm on Sunday 21 July 2024, the victim locked his e-scooter with a chain lock to a pole at the train station on Scarborough Beach Road in Glendalough. When the victim returned at around 9.25pm that same day, he found the broken chain lock on the ground and his black  e-scooter missing.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 30 years of age with short black hair. He was wearing a black ‘Puma’ t-shirt, black pants with black sneakers.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with long brown hair tied into a pony tail. She was wearing a white shirt, black sports pants, white socks, sliders, sunglasses and was carrying a brown and white shoulder bag.
