At around 12.20pm on Tuesday 9 July 2024, the victim was browsing products at a pop-up stall inside a shopping centre on Walter Road in Morley. The victim placed her handbag on top of a table while trying on a product and when she had finished, she discovered her handbag had been taken. No handbag was handed into security at the shopping centre.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with auburn coloured shoulder length hair and tattoos visible on both arms. She was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants with thongs and was carrying a black handbag.
