At around 9.05am on Tuesday 26 March 2024, a man in company with a woman entered a liquor store on the South Western Highway in Byford and removed two 4-packs of pre-mixed Bourbon and Cola from the fridge before going into one of the aisles, where he broke open one of the 4-packs and place each of the cans down his trousers. The man took the remaining 4-pack to the cashier where his bank card was declined and he left the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a Holden black and red shirt, blue denim shorts, black sneakers and a brown Akubra style hat.
