At around 10.40am on Saturday 4 December 2021, a man enters a grocery store on St Quentin Avenue in Claremont and places a few items into his shopping basket. The man is then seen on CCTV walk into the health and beauty section and select a tub of face cream, remove the tub from it’s box and place the empty box back on the shelf and the tub of cream into his trouser pocket. Upon exiting the store the man pays for the items in his basket but not the tub of concealed face cream.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, a short red beard and moustache with a tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing a black singlet, blue/grey shorts and red joggers with a green baseball cap.
