At around 8.00pm on Saturday 11 December 2021, an unknown person entered a home on Water Street in Guildford and removed the victim’s handbag from the kitchen counter top while the victim was at home. When the victim went through to the kitchen the following morning she discovered her handbag missing containing three bank cards. The stolen bank cards were used to make 22 fraudulent purchases, the first one being at around 8.40pm that evening.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with a thin moustache and a small dark greying, black goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black and red board shorts, black slip on shoes and sunglasses.
