Around 8am on Wednesday 27 March 2019, a woman entered a residential premises on Walcott Street Menora. The premises is also used by the occupier as an ironing business and selling shirts. The woman enquired about buying some shirts when she became verbally aggressive towards the occupier, so she was asked to leave. As the woman left she dropped, then picked up an item. When the occupier looked on the table, he noticed that his Samsung S7 mobile phone had been stolen.

The occupier is in his 60’s and his Wife passed away nearly a year ago. On the phone were photos of his late Wife. After leaving, the woman was seen to get into a white Honda Jazz hatchback vehicle, driven by another person.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: Light brown skinned, 18-25 years of age, thin build and long brown hair. She was wearing a blue ‘New York Yankees’ baseball cap, black crop top and black shorts with white ‘Nike’ slippers.
