At around 4.20pm on Monday 3 April 2023, two women with five children walked into a cake shop on William Street in Armadale. While one of the women distracted the staff member behind the counter the other woman helped some of the children take numerous pieces of cakes and drinks from a fridge and place them into carry bags. Neither women made any purchase or paid for any of the items removed.

Police have released CCTV images of two women who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first woman is described as: tan skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with brown hair tied up into a bun . She was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and grey skirt.

The second woman is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 35 to 45 years of age with light brown hair tied up into a pony tail. She was wearing a black t-shirt, blue shorts and white runners.
