At around 2.45pm and again at around 4.30pm on Wednesday 27 December 2023, two different women are seen on CCTV following their victims inside a supermarket on Yirrigan Drive in Mirrabooka. On both occasions as each victim stops to look at items on a shelf, the women walk up behind the victims, reach into their trolleys and remove the first victim’s purse then the second victim’s handbag, both containing bank cards.
Police have released CCTV images of two women who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The first woman is described as: white skinned, large build, between 30 to 35 years of age with straight long brown hair. She was wearing a grey singlet, dark coloured shorts, blue sliders with sunglasses and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
The second woman is described as: light skinned, medium build with long brown hair. She was wearing a blue t-shirt, black trousers with black sneakers.
