At around 1.55pm on Wednesday 23 October 2024, a woman approached a parked vehicle on York Street in Como. CCTV captured the woman opening the passenger door and grabbing a backpack containing a laptop, cash and airpods from inside the vehicle. She left the scene shortly afterwards taking the backpack with her.
Police have released CCTV images of the woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The woman is described as: tanned skinned, average build with dark hair. She was wearing a pink Adidas top over a black long-sleeved top, black shorts, white sneakers, white cap and was carrying a black back pack.
