At around 2.00pm on Tuesday 23 August 2022, the victim was sitting on a bench in an open area on Wellington Street in Perth having her lunch break. A man sitting with two other men were at another bench nearby when got up and walked across to the victim and sat next to her. The man asked the victim to lift her skirt at the same time trying to lift her skirt with his left hand. After further inappropriate sexual remarks were made to the victim she called police on her mobile phone and the man walked off.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: dark skinned, large build, between 45 to 55 years of age with a shaved head. He was wearing a blue Nike Elite Men’s Therma Fit Full Zip hooded jacket with black and red Tommy Hilfiger prescription glasses and tan coloured trousers.
