At around 12.15pm the victim was packing the display shelves behind the front counter in a fashion accessories store on Brockman Road in Midland. A man entered the store and walked up to the front counter. Suddenly the man reached across and grabbed a Machete lying on the counter top about to be placed on a display shelf and ran out of the store.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with dark brown collar length curly hair. He was wearing a grey jacket over a navy blue T-shirt, navy blue pants with black shoes and he was carrying a black and blue Nike bag.
