At around 12.25pm on Wednesday 30 August 2023, the victim parked her car, a silver Honda City sedan in a roof top car park on Wellington Street in West Perth. At around 5.00pm the victim returned to find her car stolen. The victim believes that the keys to her car might have dropped onto the ground when she unloaded a pram from the boot of her car after parking it earlier that day. The car was found abandoned in Mount Lawley on Friday 15 September 2023.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, with mohawk style haircut and small rat’s tail. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket over a light-coloured shirt with horizontal stripes, blue pants and black runners with sunglasses.
