Between 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Wednesday 17 February 2021 a handbag was stolen from a vehicle on Alfred Road in Swanbourne.


An unknown woman gained entry to a vehicle and took a handbag containing bank cards from within.


Multiple fraudulent purchases were made at newsagencies and sports stores in Innaloo and Scarborough.


In the subsequent hours three similar offences occurred on Clement Street and Odern Crescent in Swanbourne where vehicles were accessed and contents stolen.


Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The woman is described as: light skinned, solid build, with black hair. She wore a black and white striped top and shorts.
