At around 6.35pm on Sunday 1 October 2023, two men and two women entered an Adult Store on Amelia Street in Balcatta. One woman took an adult toy vibrator off a display shelf, removed it from its box and placed it into her handbag. One of the men removed a pair of shorts from its box and put it inside the same woman’s handbag before all exited the store making no atempt to pay for the items in the handbag.

Police have released CCTV images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 35 to 40 years of age with dark brown hair, an unshaven appearance and a tattoo visible on his left upper arm. He was wearing a black ‘Adidas’ t-shirt, blue pants and sunglasses.

The woman is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 30 to 35 years of age with brown hair tied back. She was wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and carrying a brown handbag over her shoulder.
