At around 3.40pm on Thursday 11 August 2022, a woman went into the self service check out inside a retail store on Marmion Avenue in Hillarys, with a trolley full of items valued at over $500 including a vacuum cleaner. After scanning all the items the woman tapped her bank card which declined and immediately exited the store with all the unpaid items.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: medium build, light skinned, between 30 to 35 years of age with black hair tied back into a small ponytail. She was wearing an olive green jumper, grey pants, white shoes with sunglasses on top of her head and was carrying an olive green shoulder bag.
