At around 10.30am on Sunday 15 October 2023, a woman entered a News Agency store on Murdoch Drive in Murdoch. The woman was seen on CCTV remove numerous food and snack items from the shelves and place them into her carry bag before exiting the store. Staff confronted the woman outside the store and when security arrived she offered to pay for the items, but fled the scene without making payment.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The woman is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 20 to 30 years of age with long black hair tied back and tattoos on both her arms and legs. She was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts, thongs with prescription glasses.
