At around 10.20am on Friday 13 October 2023, staff in a book store on William Street in Perth noticed a man who had entered the store behaving erratically. The man was seen moving books around on the shelves before he took off his jacket and shirt, then take out a singlet from his backpack and put that on under his jacket. The man left the store taking a Multi-Tool kit from the gift section and book from a shelf without making payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20 to 25 years of age with short black hair/ He was wearing a yellow jacket, black pants, black cap with black runners and was carrying a yellow and black checkered backpack.
