At around 1.30pm on Friday 2 July 2021, a woman entered a supermarket on Whitfords Avenue in Hillarys. The woman selected a snow jacket and carried it to the rear of the store where she placed it into a blue tote bag she was carrying. When the woman approached the checkout a staff member took hold of the tote bag and requested the woman show her what was in the bag. The woman pulled the bag away from the staff member and quickly exited the store with the snow jacket still inside the bag.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: light skinned, slim build with shoulder length brown hair. She was wearing a grey long sleeved top, black longs with white shoes.
